Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Events department, including planning, development and implementation of the company's marketing, branding, and events strategies and marketing communications, through in house as well as external agency efforts.

Monitor and Oversee Financial Management of the Department • Strategic/Business Plan development, updating and monitoring; • Ensures development of annual budget and cost management, within the context of Events.

Manage the Staff • Ensures appropriate staffing consistent with needs and within the constraints of the organization’s physical and financial resources; • Recruits, selects, orients and develops staff to meet standard performance; • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates the Events department’s work plan; assigns projects and programmatic responsibilities; reviews and evaluates work methods and procedures; meets with staff to identify and resolve problems. Develop, Plan and Deliver Programs and Services • Attract/contract international artists to design relevant shows/events; • Design and delivers events for 2,000+ seated theatre; • Stay current of music/show/theatre activities nationally and internationally and make recommendations for developments of potential interest; • Researches new and unfamiliar repertoire; • Develop events’ budgets, be accountable for expenditures within budget parameters, and work closely with events manager(s) to ensure budget tracking; • Supervise events requirements for marketing & development events, including musician and guest artists involvement and logistics; • Oversee the collection of rehearsal orders; • Negotiate fees and initiate the creation of guest artist contracts and oversee contract execution process; • Ensure a welcoming environment for artists to encouraging the highest quality experience; • Ensure that programming plans are feasible within the terms and condition of contracts; • Maintains the quality goal of NagaWorld as the top of the class entertainment destination in Indochina; • Maintains and develops the brand image of NagaWorld; • Leads and oversees the company's event efforts across all platforms and be responsible for planning, implementation and execution of events plan; • Engages, vets, contracts with, builds and maintains working relationships with, and instructs external PR, event, marketing and branding agencies to support all areas of events; • Oversees the design, implementation and maintenance of event platforms for delivering NagaWorld’s main business objectives and programmatic content in a way that is accessible, cost-effective, and consistent with the organization’s mission, policies and standards; • Maintains strong internal and external communications with all events stakeholders; • Solicits and maintains marketing and vendor databases, guest and sponsorship prospect databases, and research.

• Bachelor degree in Advertising/Media, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Mass Communications, Music/Performing Arts Studies, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent education required • Proficient in Chinese and English, Thai and Vietnamese a plus • At least 15 years of relevant experience in conference/event planning, demonstrating increasing responsibility and successful execution of mission-driven events, as well as strong collaboration skills and innovative programming • At least 15 years of relevant experience in dealing with or working for brand or marketing agencies • At least 5 years of relevant experience in dealing or working with international shows/artists

NagaWorld Limited is a subsidiary of NagaCorp Limited, a Publicly Listed entertainment company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It is the first and best integrated hotel entertainment complex in the fast developing Mekong region. Naga2 will house an additional 800 hotel rooms, 100 luxury suites and a 2500 seat theatre. Naga City Walk, an exclusive duty free retail mall will connect the two complexes. Naga City Walk is expected to be launched later this year with Naga2 expected to be in operation by June 2017. In addition to the expansion plan in Cambodia, in 2015, NagaCorp held its groundbreaking ceremony in Vladivostok, Russia for the Primorsky Entertainment Resort City "PERC" project which is expected to be completed in 2018.
