Mô tả công việc

1. Ensure that the House Bank, Remittance and Foreign Exchange Policies and procedures are enforced / followed. 2. Ensure all floats are supported by approved house bank contracts and recipient fully understands contract per hotel policy. 3. Monthly count of General Cashier fund at least once a month with independent witness. Each float must be counted at least once a month per hotel policy. 4. Witnessing (by signature) of all drop safe(s), opening of safe and counting of floats – reconciling to drop sheet per hotel policy.(HFP 440.01) 5. Daily banking – collects banking envelopes from safe, open, count and balances to prepare for banking per hotel policy. 6. Ensure daily cash drop is matching with daily sales report from PMS and POS system. 7. Ensure daily collection is performed by bank each working day. 8. Process Petty cash and as required and made reimbursement weekly. (HFP 440.09) 9. Prepare over and shorts balance monthly and give to Chief Accountant or Assistant Financial Controller. 10. Issue and return of house bank contracts as required and prepare House bank accounts summary on a monthly basis in accordance with the hotel policy.(HFP 440.02) 11. Process Due backs daily. (HFP 440.01) 12. Process the cheques returned by bank. 13. Ensure safe combination code is changing at least once per quarterly or as necessary. (HFP 440.06) 14. Liaison with guest service associates about cashiering problems. 15. Liaison with Income Auditor. 16. Monitor and issue hotel foreign exchange rates to Income Auditor and adjust as necessary.( HFP 440.13) 17. It is not the intention of this Position Description to provide an exhaustive list of job duties. It provides a focal point to the incumbent in the hope that they will develop the job further. From time to time and in line with managerial priorities, it is expected that the incumbent will work as and where directed by management and in line with improving customer service.

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES 1. Previous experience with cashiering, banking and income audit advantageous. 2. Basic accounting, finance or related background. 3. Numerical/calculator efficient. 4. Computer keyboard skills. QUALIFICATION STANDARD Education: University and Secondary school leaving or equivalent. Experience: 1. Previous experience with cashiering, banking and income audit advantageous. 2. Basic accounting background. Additional Skill required 1. Incumbent must maintain at cooperative and helpful relations with all those he/she liaisons with. Must try at all times to respond to queries quickly and efficiently. 2. To ensure that the amounts to be banked on a daily basis are banked quickly and efficiently and the General Cashiers Report is provided to the Income Auditor or accountant on a daily basis. 3. Responsible for the safes, computer, printers and calculators utilized in the course of performing the job duties.
