This position is concerned with developing an effective marketing services program through an integrated communications plan as outlined in the overall hotel marketing plan and thus uplifting the hotel’s corporate image.

• Maintains a high level of acceptance of the hotel to its targeted public through various Marketing and public relations activities according to the plans set by the hotel. • Creates opportunities through guests or media contacts regularly. This is to ensure consistent rapport and building positive goodwill. • To develop and maintain high level contacts with key media in the community and to ensure proper dissemination of the hotel’s policies, objectives and actions to the general public in that locality. • Responsible to manage and control hotel’s database or mailing list and maintaining a loyalty and frequent-user programmers. • To provide guidance for, and clearance of, statements, articles and speeches by hotel personnel and to recommend public platforms at which it may be advisable for hotel officials to appear in that locality. • Creative input on hotel collaterals for in-house merchandising and generates new ideas for packaging and promoting restaurant and bar outlets in order to remains competitive. • To ensure that all hotel communication tools are consistent in design and are appropriate, timely, effective ad prepared and produced in line with Corporate Guidelines to reflect the high standard of Hilton International e.g. accurate information, quality production for fliers, posters, brochures, advertising and press releases. • To develop story ideas consistent with the needs of local and national media and ensure press clippings distributions are done on a daily basis. • To be responsible for the development and production of the local Food & Beverage Advertising strategy, in conjunction with General Manager and Food & Beverage Services Manager. • Provides public relations support of food and beverage promotions, specifically in publicizing them in the local market. • To be responsible for the development of local and out of market rooms advertising strategy in conjunction with the hotel appointed advertising agency. • To ensure regional and corporate offices are kept updated on developments and changes within the hotel, and to provide all information relevant to the inclusion of hotel facilities in corporate publications/ data. • To develop the hotel’s PR/ Communication Plan consistent with the Corporate Marketing Objectives. • To prepare comprehensive advertising briefs to the hotel’s appointed advertising agency prior to undertaking any advertising campaigns or production of collaterals. • Responsible for community related events and exhibitions organized by the hotel. • Greets visiting journalists and top VIPs upon arrival at the hotel, hosts them when necessary, provides them with story ideas about the hotel. • To liaise with respective departments relating to their photography needs as well as establish a slide library for the hotel. Maintains up-to-date photo files on the hotel’s facilities and key personnel. • Responsible for making all arrangements for photographers on assignment at the hotel. • Is present at any event at the hotel where the hotel will be highlighted locally and receive high visibility. Ensures that all photo captions and photo releases are issued to the media accordingly. Creates and updates media/ press list regularly. Must have at least 2-5 years of working experience in similar capacity. Manager Possess degree in Marketing Communications, Public Relations or other related fields. Fluent spoken and written English Has an excellent organizational and communicative skill. Possess excellent media contacts. Possess leadership and team building qualities.
