Mô tả công việc

- Be aware at all times as to the condition of the house, particularly relating to the number of rooms available and occupied and ensure this information is current and accurate. - Observing and directing personnel when necessary on the following: o Allocating and processing of guest rooms. o Meeting and escorting VIP guests o Giving general information, assistance to guests. - Monitoring of all Front Office Log Books for special requests, instructions and information recorded and action taken or to be taken - Conduct Room Inspections with particular emphasis on cleanliness and standard set up. - Carry out inspection of other hotel areas regularly, including lobby and Port Cochere. - Liaise regularly with Housekeeping Department regarding all special requests, full house situations and for general problem solving. - Initiates the implementation of new Front Office Standards & Procedures. - Ensure the Hotel Guest History Program is being consistently used and updated. - Prepare daily/weekly Guest History information to ensure the recognition is effective. - Effectively handle all guest complaints. - Purchase stock/inventory according to purchasing procedures and specifications while handling and storing stock according to stock control procedures and keeping within the Budget/Outlook. - Manage and maximise occupancy, revenue, and average rate while maintaining high service standards via the upselling programs within the department. - Ensure that the guest registration, checkout, and mail services are handled efficiently, promptly and courteously in accordance with the hotel’s policy and procedures. - Administer the monthly Guest Satisfaction Survey, reporting results to the senior management team. - Participate in the preparation of the Strategic Business and Operating Plans. - Prepare monthly outlook/forecast reports. - Attend meetings as required. - Implement opportunities for quality Team Building. - Ensure that all associates comply with the grooming and uniform standards. - Conduct development and performance reviews, identifying key personnel for further development and structured career pathing. - Implement and maintain training systems to ensure that associates have the necessary framework and skills to perform their job efficiently and effectively. - Prepare work schedules and annual leave schedules within budget, business expectations and guidelines of the appropriate industrial legislation. - Oversee the selection and appointment of new associates within the department. - Conduct regular staff meetings to keep all associates informed. - Participate in the Hotel “Manager on Duty” program - Ensure compliance with legislated heath and safety requirements within the workplace - Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures. - Promote by example the principles of “The Power of Service”. - Actively promote a work environment, which cares for guests and associates alike.

1. Good knowledge and very familiar with all front office area operation 2. Good English language skill 3. Good supervisory skill, with emphasis on “ people management” 4. Good communication skill 5. Be good at organize and problem solving 6. Good finance knowledge Education: University degree in hospitality or related subjects preferred Experience: Min. 3 years front office working experience required in supervisory position Additional Skill required 1. Positive attitude under pressure 2. Training & presentation skill
