Mô tả công việc

• Analyses current and potential markets/trends, coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rate • Maintain regular contact with the IHG hotels in your region and the regional reservation office • Assists in the evaluation of sales and marketing activities • Implement direction from Director of Sales &Marketing and Regional Managers • Establishes sales leads from the study of magazines, newspapers and form personal contacts; coordinates sales leads with Banqueting and Sales Departments • Develops a Marketing and Communications programme for the hotel based on its marketing goals, and develops the Marketing and Communications strategies to reach these markets • Maintains close liaison with Regional/ Corporate Marketing teams and those of other IHG hotels to ensure the hotel receives proper corporate consideration, direction and support • Direct day-to-day Marketing activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance, and recognise good performance. • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts (example: guests, airliners, wholesalers, travel agencies, ad agencies, local community groups) in order to produce group and/or convention business, to include room sales, food and beverage sales, and catering/banquet services. • Provide guests with information (example: loyalty programmes, area attractions, restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience. • Lead marketing efforts to up sell guests on hotel services, offerings, and amenities. • Procures new and repeat business for the hotel by monitoring contact with airlines, travel agencies, commercial houses, private clubs and professional associations within local, domestic and international markets. Maintains contact with planners, corporate accounts, incentive buyers, airlines and wholesalers, through personal sales calls, telephone contacts and written communications • Establishes and continuously updates mailing lists • Develops and organizes promotional activities, coordinates with departments concerned; invites VIPs and media to promotional activities; prepares and issues press releases • Disseminates corporate press releases to appropriate local trade and consumer media • Develops media contacts, plans press conferences and other press activities. Acts as hotel’s liaison with media to promote good publicity and counteract bad publicity. • Establishes a programme for sending promotional news to trade publications on a regular basis releases covering special events, promotions, etc.

Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications or related field or 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, associates and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. • Demonstrated knowledge of effective hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization and selling strategies, and ability to determine which concepts to apply in given market conditions. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office • Problem solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities. • Good writing skills
