Mô tả công việc

Objective: The Chief Accountant is responsible for the efficient and effective functioning of the day-to-day financial and accounting operations of an organization with integrity, honesty and confidentiality. The Chief Accountant provides the CEO with financial information and advice.
This oversight includes day to day record maintenance, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of the financial reporting function, treasury management and tax preparation.
The Chief Accountant provides management to the Finance team and ensures integrity of all financial information.
The Chief Operation Officer contributes to a pleasant learn environment for the trainees.
The Chief Operations Officer – KOTO Enterprise will lead effectively and uphold his/ her role as an ambassador of the KOTO family.

Responsibilities/Trách Nhiệm
Chief Accountant will /Kế toán trưởng sẽ chịu trách nhiệm về:
1. Day to day financial management

Responsibilities:
● Reviews accounts payables and weekly check runs.
● Coordinate with HR Manager to monitor all staff and trainee’s holiday, sick leave, and statutory legal entitlements under Vietnamese labour law and all aspects of staff‘s payroll, allowances, advances…
● Ensure that all donations and sponsorship money received from all sources are accounted for and expended on an appropriate basis.
● Work with the finance department to ensure transparency and accountability of all reporting.
● Monitor all aspects of management expense accounts.
● Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws.
● Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
● Responsible for all taxes obligations.

2. Prepare and report: Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.

3. Liaise with external bodies: Liaise with external bodies in order to keep KOTO as well as external partners up to date and in the right.
Responsibilities:
● Liaise with external bodies including suppliers, customers, government, KOTO International, Australian Volunteers International, donors, tax department.
● Note correspondence between KOTO and external bodies.

4. Learning and growth: Assist the CEO of Enterprise with improving financial systems.
● Monitor existing systems and processes and suggest improvements in maintaining the accuracy of the accounting records for all KOTO operations, both present & future.
● Assist the CEO of Enterprise in developing, implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reports including the income statement and balance sheet as well as fulfilling any reporting requirements for external organisations.

5. Ensure Integrity: Ensure Integrity of all financial information. Uphold integrity of financial information
Responsibilities:
• Manage Finance team in order to ensure integrity, honesty and confidentiality.
• Ensure third parties never have insight in KOTO’s and KOTO partner’s confidential information.

6. Self: Managing self to maximise results.
Responsibilities:
● Attend and contribute to all meetings and KOTO events.
● Ensure a positive attitude is maintained even when under pressure
● Ensure own Training and Development needs are identified and utilise available resources for professional and self-development.
7. Values & Ethos: Upholding the values of KOTO.
Responsibilities:
● Demonstrate commitment to KOTO values in all tasks and activities.
● Reflect and promote the KOTO style of professionalism and spirit both internally and externally.
