Our Sales Executive will
- Work collaboratively with H&K Strategic Accounts and Market Sales,
Convention Bureaus, Conventions Centers and other hotel counterparts to
drive revenue, ensure customer satisfaction and increase market share.
- Work collaboratively with off-property sales channels (e.g., Event Booking
Center, Market Sales, Strategic Accounts) to ensure sales efforts are
coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, industry
organizations and H&K network to enable future bookings. Activities include
sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and
external.
- Understand the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses,
economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.
Key Activities
- Make efforts to increase room revenue, room occupancy rate conference,
food-beverages, and other hotel services.
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge about all H&K
Hospitality properties
- Identify business potential and upkeep close contact with former and potential
clients through personal visits, phone calls and correspondences in view of
contact signing with them.
- Search for new clients at the same time maintain relationship with existing
accounts.
- Forecast future travel patterns and provides trade feedback to the Sales
Manager/ Director of Sales.
- Prepare and execute action plans which increase reservation sales and
associated business
- Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/email
- Maintain knowledge of special rates/offers/promotions
- Recommend the solution and strategies to further improve the sales
performance.
- Prepare reservation sales reports

Experience required
- University Graduate
- Previous experience working within Sales & Marketing Department or similar
environment is preferred
- Hotel/Tourism academic background or experience is preferred
Skills and Knowledge required
- Strong Communication and negotiation skill
- Excellent Hospitality skill
- Computer literate
- Pro-active and reliable attitude
- Ability to work individually and within a team
