ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1. Welcome guests upon arrival and check in according to established standards and procedures 2. Adhere to all credit procedures and accounting procedures as they pertain to the registration process. 3. To handle all keys for guests as requested 4. Check out guest courteously and accurately. 5. Balancing of credit card, charges, and cash. 6. To handle all guest inquiries 7. To answer the telephone promptly and clearly in a friendly and courteous manner. 8. To know all in house guest names and villa/room numbers and be able to recognize guest by sight. To use guests first name as form off address. 9. To record all guest complaints, guest comments, compliments, damage or loss of guest property, and other relevant information in the Log Book. 10. Responsible for document with serial number such as: official receipt, paid out form, rebate, currency exchange, etc. 11. To handle and report all guest complaints, compliments and suggestions immediately to Management. 12. To obtain selective guest history information from our in house guest and input important information into the guest profile. 13. To have a sound working knowledge of the hotel’s daily and future functions and activities – luncheons, dinners, cocktail parties, meeting, etc. 14. To book all activities for guests, such as golf, tennis, spa treatments, recreational equipments, etc following the established reservations procedures. 15. To arrange activity partners for guests, including yourself or another Guest Service Agent if you have time available. 16. To have the responsibility to make decision and handle minor guest problems on your own, reporting back your solutions to the Director of Rooms daily. 17. To bid farewell to all guests at the hotel lobby 18. To greet arriving guests and VIP guests at the hotel lobby, making sure correct luggage is transferred to correct Buggy. 19. To escort guest in the Buggy on their way to check in at their room/villa, pointing out spots of interest in route. 20. To check in guests at their villa, taking care of all details and pointing out villa facilities. 21. To check all VIP and guest blocked villas/room before arrival to ensure the set up and cleanliness is to our standard. 22. To meet with guests after check in to describe the resort facilities, put together their activity schedule, and give your utmost assistance. 23. To constantly be in contact with in house guests during their stay by visting them in restaurants, and throughout the out. 24. To always be visible and accommodating for all of our guest needs. 25. To have a complete list of emergency telephone numbers and list of hotel’s emergency team at the Front Office desk. 26. To be aware and respond to all hotel emergency situations, ensuring the safety of guests, associates and yourself by following the hotel’s policy and procedures for handling emergencies and remaining calm and being in control of the situation. 27. To complete any additional tasks assigned by the FOM/Room Division. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the hotel: 1. To attend the daily morning or afternoon Front Office briefing at beginning of your shift. 2. Maintain a well-groomed appearance and a tidy work area 3. To maintain good working relationship with all departments.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities: 1. Must be able to speak, write and converse freely in English 2. Must be able to speak, write and converse freely in the language spoken in the area 3. Must be able to speak in one additional language other than the first two 4. Must be able to lift heavy luggage 5. Must be able to stand 9hrs a day while maintaining a smile and positive attitude 6. Must be proactive QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Education University degree in hospitality or related subjects preferred Experience Min. 1 years working experience required in Front Office operations Grooming All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Marriott International standards.
