Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities of the role) • Effectively manage the Restaurant operation by ensuring the following: o Oversee the Implementation of standards as detailed in the departmental standards and procedures manual o Adhere to opening and closing procedures o Adhere to bill paying procedures o Conduct effective shift briefings ensuring all staff are aware of VIPs, special occasions, daily specials; emphasis on up selling certain products; etc o Personally meet and farewell a minimum of 80% of your customers o Encourage and motivate staff to provide optimum service during all shifts • Share recommendations and guest comments to Restaurant Manager, Chef and Food and Beverage Manager and Director to reflect current customer profile • Manage special event concepts • Conduct competitor analysis • Create positive publicity opportunities • Manage customer database and utilize effectively • Up-sell property facilities • Actively pursue cost saving measures • Recycle wherever possible • Manage wage and beverage cost • Work closely with Restaurant Manager regarding Forecasting • Stock control • Analyze food and beverage statistics through point of sale system • Works with Superior on manpower planning and management needs • Works with Superior in the preparation and management of the Department’s budget Fully conversant with all hotel emergency procedures • Is prepared to implement assigned tasks during emergencies such as fires, power failures and bomb threats • Assists outlet manager to ensure departmental Risk Management Calendar actions are up to date as per monthly calendar schedule. • In-charge of outlet training to make sure training and coaching are follow up • Assists outlet manager with updating the Great Hotels Guest Love departmental Wheel in conjunction with departmental team, to be aligned with overall hotel Great Hotels Guest Love Steering Wheel. Communicates to team the actions to take on the Great Hotels Guests Love Wheel. • Assists outlet manager in delivery of the IHG Commitment of Room to Be Yourself • In absent of Restaurant Manager, need to pay full responsibilities for outlet operation.

Experience – • 2 years related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
