Welcome, take care of guests, and prepare for check-in / check-out procedure. Welcome and make check-in procedure for guest. Make sure for gathering completely guest’s information. Update guest’s information into system Check guest’s booking information, make sure for fully and exactly updated booking requests. Create room key. Check and make sure that guest’s luggage brought after checking in. Inform housekeeping in case of late check-out and early check-in for room preparation. Welcome visitor, receive and transfer guest’s message. VIP, travel agents or others important guests welcoming and farewell. Having a thorough grasp of procedures and processes for checking out. Update and report receptionist’s work. Update the quantity of in / out and in-house guest in the date. Update resort’s daily activities, entertainment activities and promotion …information. Monitor room status and make change as actual room request. Report to supervisor and manager if have any problems and incidents in the date. Take notes some request and uncompleted problems into log book and hand over for the next shift. Professionally perform. Proficient using of hotel manager software. Deal with guest’s requests and complaints. Make other tasks which assigned by supervisor and manager. Check and make sure hygienic and safe workplace. Follow with company’s rules and regulations. Know clearly product information, hotel’s rules and orientations which support for working. Know how to use and have maintenance of equipment and facilities which support for working. Learn by hart the way to answer phone according to company’s rules. Having selling skills on phone. Know how to reply and manage emails. Know how to manage documents. Know how to import profile, travel agent profile and company profile. Know how to import market segment according to sales and marketing orientation. Know how to have maximum revenue for hotel from selling. Complete tasks from manager at the end of shift. Join in briefing meeting every day. Prepare room for guest in coming next few days. Prepare document and contract for guest who will come tomorrow. Prepare tomorrow arriving guest’s information to “care”. Pay attention to guest. Give introduction and instruction of what they should do and where they should go for different kinds of guests. Sending greeting card to guest on the occasion of birthday or wedding anniversary, or inquiring to sick guests. Sending thank you letters to guest who left from hotel three days ago.
