• Monitors competitors’ activities and assists in marketing intelligence
• Refers sales leads to appropriate personnel within the resort
• Sell all facets of the resort
• Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target market
• Provides direction on, and conducts market research and analysis
• Develops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitors/convention bureau, travel agents, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, Government Departments and other producers closely allied to resort business
• Builds profile within local market place through attendance at various events and local market place
• Conduct client interviews
• Plan and conduct familiarization tours and site inspections
• Travel when required to promote the resort and develop potential business
• Maintain regular contact with the resorts in your region and the regional reservation office
• Monitor existing business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximize business
• Grow existing business and establishes and pursues leads which will develop business
• Interact with operations on a timely basis
• Assists with the preparation of new products and services
• Assists in the evaluation of sales and marketing activities
• Analyses sales mix and likely impact on resort goals
• Implement direction from Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager
• Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any resort activity related to Fire Life safety.
• Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time

Yêu cầu công việc

• 1-2 years of relevant experience or similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Proven experience in business development and excellent track record in servicing accounts across MICE and Leisure segments
• Strong relationships with domestic & regional agencies - PCOs
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Solid experience with handling MICE and/or GIT
• Diploma/BA/MA degree in Tourism/Hospitality Management, Event/Exhibition or Foreign Language
