Customers:
• Investigate complaints and make corrective measures
• Help to foster a more harmonious environment for the Housekeeping by bringing himself closer and getting more involve in their daily activities
• Recommend and prepare new purchases to ensure enough amenities for the guest ‘s room.
• Makes physical inspection of out of order rooms, VIPs and long stay guest rooms
• Inspects public restrooms, staff locker rooms, offices, etc.
• Supervises and provides feedback on staff ensuring all actions are taken as specified with reference to standard and procedures
• Inspects rooms, lobbies, all function rooms, meeting rooms, back of house for cleanliness and also to determine the need for shampooing and spring cleaning and make recommendations
• Recommends rooms to be put out of order and when to release
People
• Assist with the training of all Housekeeping team members to ensure the high level standard
• Assumes responsibilities of Executive Housekeeper in her absence.
• Chairs the morning briefing in the absence of Executive Housekeeper
• Assist all the HSK team member and other department when needed.
• Assists to direct the functions of administration and planning of the Housekeeping - Department to meet the daily needs of the operations.
Quality:
• Supervises and carry out the procedures and policies established with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Laundry, Engineering, Human Resource, Security, Linen room, Flower room and gardener for the smooth running of the operation in order to maintain consistent quality service standards towards the guest.
• Follow up on overnight log book items.
• Revises daily work schedule depending on occupancy.
Profit:
• Delegates, distributes and describes instructions and follow up items issued to floor and public area.
• Assists in compiling inventory of linens, guest and cleaning supplies
• Determines discards of room linens and food and beverage linens
