Customers:
• Ensure high quality of food in taste and presentation, produced in a clean and safe environment
• Ensures a high level of kitchen sanitation and high hygiene levels

People:
• Keep an open, professional communication flow between team members, other departments and superiors.
• Ensures proper communication especially with the service team, keeping in mind the customers needs.
• Contributes actively in the daily kitchen meetings during the absence of the Chef de Partie.
• Ensure punctuality, grooming and hygiene is at the highest level and of professional business standards.

Quality:
• Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation through proper following of the recipes and the recipe sheets.
• Assist the pastry chef in daily training of the subordinates to achieve consistency.

Profit:
• Help to keep the food cost at established levels without compromising on quality and by avoiding waste through hygiene and sanitation.
• Control labor cost effectively.

• At least 5 years experience in a 5 star establishment.
• Able to delegate, supervise and organize.
• Able to work flexible, long hours.
• Creative and open minded personality.
• Able to converse in English.
