PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To play a role as wedding manager with Sales Team to meet budget monthly/quarterly/yearly and maximize banquet business.
MAIN ROLES:
• To fully understand the pricing structure and maximize opportunity during peak and off-peak periods
• To identify new opportunities for the business to proactively explore and support where necessary
• To participate in site inspections with potential wedding couple& family
• To co-operate with other external/ internal department in order to organize the wedding smoothly
• Supervise customer wedding timelines and support anytime if needed
• To manage a portfolio of existing clients to encourage repeat and new business
• To organize Wedding Fair and wedding promotion during the year
• Update events and promotion on online marketing channel and follow up closely
• To have an in depth knowledge of key competitors and their strengths and weaknesses
• Carry out a competitor check quarterly and make sure that this is kept up to date
• Maintain relationships with local suppliers to promote business and recommend for customers

Yêu cầu công việc
• Highly professional and experience working in 5* Hotel
• Good working knowledge and experience in Sales & Marketing
• Previous experience of running events; in particular private events such as weddings
• Good understanding of different wedding cultures
• Good understanding of F&B, catering requirements
• Availability to work late nights and weekends
• Excellent telephone and message taking etiquette
• Excellent communication skills
• Focused on delivering a high level of customer/ client service
• Confident and professional approach when dealing with clients and event suppliers
• Able to work under pressure and multi task particularly during the peak seasons
• Understanding of social networking sites (Facebook, online marketing...)
