Mô tả công việc

- The Sales & Marketing Manager creates lucrative sales targets and builds a strong network of business relationships with Corporate clients, Travel Agents, Tourist Associations, OTAs, Tour Operators, Media & Social Media, etc.
- This position requires strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Vietnamese, both verbal and written.
- To maintain excellent guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel.
- Personally demonstrates a commitment to excellent guest service by responding promptly to all Clients’ needs and enquiries.
- Ensuring all Hosts (Resort Staff), including new hires, know all components of guest services and sales, and they are trained to meet the required standards.
- Assists the GM to prepare the hotel’s annual marketing plan and budget, to correctly reflect the hotel’s business plan and objectives.
- Prepares Forecasts for occupancy fluctuations and directs selling activities accordingly, to maximize revenues at all times.
- Knows the hotel’s demand periods and sources business volume to fill low occupancy periods, whilst maintaining a balance of the desired market mix.
- Understands the principals of competition for each market segment, and take advantage of the hotel’s strengths against its competitors.
- Actively promotes the Resort through outside sales calls, telemarketing, site inspections, etc.
- Analyzes and understands the competition’s strengths and weaknesses for each market segment, directing all marketing activities accordingly.
- Identifies and maintains constant communications with the resort’s key accounts.
- Actively sells to in-house guests (greeting tours, talking with guests at breakfast to identify potential leads, etc.)
- Keeps the GM well informed of changes to market conditions, and advises the GM on business strategies to grow Occupancy, Average Room Rate, and F&B Revenue.

Yêu cầu công việc

- University degree
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a relevant position
- Preferable working experience in the Tourism Industry
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Knowledgeable about Tourism in Vietnam
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions and possess excellent problem solving skills
- Creative, dynamic, enthusiastic and results oriented
- Sales disposition and ability to take calculated risks
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- Good connection with OTAs, TAs, GTAs...
