Being a Pullman employee means embodying and conveying the brand mindset
through the values of commitment, adaptability and creativity.
Overview of duties
• Behaves and acts in an exemplary fashion, embodying the brand mindset
• Develops and fosters a positive image and relationship between the hotel and the public, vendor, suppliers, guests, clients and community
• Carries out marketing activities, using the Accor and Brand platform and tools to drive revenue for rooms and all hotel outlets and services
• Applies Brand's quality Standards (SOPs)
Main responsibilities
Customer relations
• Translates the Pullman mindset to guests, embodying sociability and proximity.
• Eestablishes and maintains a relationship with Key local press and local media.
• Liaises with the regional Communications team to maximize communications exposure.
• Ensures all visual and written communication (internal/external, offline/online) is fully aligned with the hotels positioning and brand.
• Defines precisely V.I.P. guests requirements and ensures that the guest services offered corresponds effectively to their requirements.
• In collaboration with all departments ensures that the hotel delivers the brand's customer promise
Professional techniques / Production
• Assists the DOSM in drawing up a number of plans: Annual Marketing Plan (section on Public Relations Plan and Advertising Plan), annual Public Relations Action Plan and advertisement Plan.
• Designs and distributes the monthly Newsletter and other advertising.
• Attends all official functions as a representative of the hotel.
• Attends social events both in-house and outside.
• Keeps herself/himself well informed of the product (lodging, catering and other facilities) to have appropriate strategy for marketing.
• Manages all marketing/promotional/sales collateral development/production both on and off line
• Assists the DOSM to closely observe matters pertaining to public relations activities of the hotel and other hotels (Competitors) on a regular basis.
• Assists the DOSM to set in conjunction with the Management, the Public Relations strategy of the hotel.
• Ensures that optimum publicity is created for all major hotel activities.
• Takes photographs and prepares news releases of events undertaken by the hotel.
• Organizes (both internal and external) Public Relations activities.
• Drives the marketing and communication (internal and external) of the Hotels CSR commitments.
• Promotes Accor Loyalty and partenerships programme robustly.
Team management and cross-departmental responsibilities
• Is the point of contact for all departments before a deal is closed.
• Coordinates with other departments to maximise the sale of the Hotel's products and services while assuring guest's best satisfaction.
• Boosts cross-departmental working methods thanks to his/her relational skills, adaptability and professionalism.
Commercial / Sales
• Identifies opportunities to further expose the hotel and maximizes revenue opportunities through appropriate marketing strategies or sponsoring local sport/cultural/art events that are aligned with the hotel positioning and are sound in delivering a strong ROI
• Gives inputs in the hotel's promotion packages, etc.
• Gets feedbacks from guests and shares them with relevant departments to best improve the hotel's standards
Management and administration
• Maintains a record on former, current and existing clients (Mailing list).
• Organizes and records visits by professionals persons of the media, journalists and members of the trade to the hotel.
• Respects the resort's policies and procedures in terms of contracting, billing and budget
Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment
• Ensures all rooms accessible to customers are clean and tidy.
• Always keeps herself/himself well presented and with good grooming.
• Applies the hotel safety regulations (fire hazards etc).
• Ensures respect of the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter" (energy saving, recycling and sorting waste etc).
