1 Supervise the functioning of all food and beverage service staff and facilities, in order to ensure a complete efficient Food and Beverage outlet.
2. Develop and in cooperation with personnel office to implement formal training plans for all food and beverage services staff. Evaluate the training needs of each section and implement where necessary in coordination of the Food and Beverage Manager. All training plans must be prepared and receive the Food and Beverage Manager for approval. Devise systems to monitor improvements.
3. Invent and preparation and pricing of menus, beverage and wine list in approval and coordination to the Food and Beverage Manager and Cost Controller. Organize price surveys regularly to ensure that the hotel is competitive in the market place. Report to Food and Beverage Manager for final approval.
4. Controlling and awareness of restaurant bookings and events.
5. Table assignments for reservations.
6. Conduct daily Restaurant briefings before service time.
7. Welcome, greet and seat all the guests coming in his outlet.
8. Attend weekly Food and Beverage meeting to discuss:
-Financial results.
-Business plan.
-Changes in content of operation.
- New management policies.
9. Investigate and handle all guest complaints as per Company policy and provide information to the Food and Beverage Manager at once.
10. Check outlet logbooks for revenue and hand over on a daily basis and take necessary action on matters reported. Food and Beverage Manager should be informed of all such actions
11. Ensure that all assets belonging to the FB department are strictly controlled, avoiding loss. Monthly stock-take is to be conducted. Reports to be made to Food and Beverage Manager. Any discrepancy must be immediately reported and explained. Measures to be worked out to head off repetition.
12. Ensure information is communicated effectively between all outlet sections of the Restaurant department.
13. Monitor and create new procedures that would enhance customer, staff satisfaction and improve profitability.
14. Undertake other tasks as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager

Level of Education: Bachelor / Licence
Areas of study: Hospitality Management
At least 2 years experiences in international 5* hotel
Languages essential: English (fluently) both verbal and written, French would be a plus
