The Resort Guest Service Centre is a combination of the traditional Telephone Operator Department; Reservations for Dining, Entertainment and Leisure activities; In-Room dining orders and where all guest requests are received. This is so that for any guest call, they have a dedicated agent (One contact) to assist and personally follow up on any of their requests. Complete guest satisfaction for all received calls will be the target for all guest interactions. The Resort Guest Service Centre is also responsible for physically facilitating all key requests which means the team must be multi-skilled in languages, guest relations, phone sales, housekeeping and minor maintenance trouble-shooting.
The Resort Guest Service Agent is responsible for dealing with guest requirements in a courteous, charming and professional manner to both internal and external guests. As the resort's voice and possible first impression for the resort, clear, professional and amiable communication is paramount for guest experience and loyalty. Under the general guidance and direction of the Guest Service Centre Supervisor/Manager and within the limits of IHG's policies and procedures - the agent is responsible to provide a prompt and satisfactory resolution of any inquiry, request, problem or complaint from all guests.
As the main communication point of the Resort, the agent is required to prioritise and co-ordinate a rapid response for all guest requests, inquiries and needs. He/she will be required to assign work orders to the appropriate personnel and to identify and anticipate guest needs. Key inter-department relationships will include Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Guest Relations, Club InterContinental and Food and Beverage.

Required Skills:
- Ability to work and engage in a team.

- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the Resort, the brand and the Company.
- Proficient in the use of systems mentioned throughout the Job Description.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, excel.
- Good communication and writing skills in English
- Strong organizational skills and ability to time-manage and prioritise requests and tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School or Vocational Certificate in Business Management, Business Study or equivalent
Experience:
1 year experience in front office / guest services / call centre or related discipline including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
