The Business Coordinator at Pizza Belga has a very central, challenging and high responsibility position.
In short term (6 months – 1 year) he/she will develop and coordinate a team of servers, kitchen and delivery staff to ensure high quality served food, flawless and efficient customer service. He will be the contact point of the food and equipment suppliers, coordinate efficient deliveries to the customers and will also coach and develop the kitchen staff and servers towards excellence. The Business Coordinator will also play a key role in developing and maintaining the restaurant’s reputation as well as growing the customer base through targeted marketing.
In long term, the Business Coordinator will play a key role to support the extension of Pizza Belga to new locations or new services, along with the Business Manager.
Detailed activities
• Participate in the HR management along with the Business Manager
Participate in developing HR strategy including staff organization, recruitment and training strategies
Recruit and train service and kitchen staff
Provide continuous training (in collaboration with the main chef and the Business Manager
• Supplier and orders management
Ensure the inventory of food, drink and consumable following internal tools and procedure
Supervise or directly conduct orders and goods reception
Find cost effective, reliable and high quality suppliers, build relationship with suppliers by establishing long term contracts and conduct effective negotiation
Conduct cost analysis and identify possible improvements and/or cost reduction
Operation management
Participate in the management team, contribute ideas and solutions to any arising matters in the company.
Responsible for creating operation standard in the restaurant
Be in charge of the front-house during opening hours, ensure high standard and customer-oriented services
Marketing management
Create marketing content (pictures, videos, social media posts, flyers etc.)
Ensure effective communication and marketing
