Ensures all guest staterooms are clean, in good condition and set up according to company policy. Includes all components of the stateroom, bed, linen, carpet, curtains, furniture, balcony, bathrooms, towels, amenities, papers, collateral, closets, safes, mini-bars, etc.
Ensures all lockers are stocked according to pre-set par levels, clean, organized and set up according to the 5s concept.
Conducts monthly linen inventories.
Maintains a logbook to record stateroom status, maintenance deficiencies and significant events and activities during his/her shift then completes the Daily Supervisor’s worksheet and reports as needed.
Using Platinum Inspections/Impressions, routinely inspects guest staterooms, including vacant, made-up and turned-down rooms to ensure the standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times. Special attention is given that supplies are replenished and rooms are properly serviced.
Offers all possible assistance to guests and takes corrective action on complaints and strives for prompt guest recovery.
Ensures that time in and out sheets of staff are filled in properly and in accordance with the numbers of hours worked. Accounts for steward/ess worksheets and reviews the same prior to submission to the Asst. Executive Housekeeper.
Maintains a logbook to record stateroom status, maintenance deficiencies and significant events and activities during his/her shift then completes the Daily Supervisor’s worksheet and reports as needed.
Reports maintenance deficiencies that require immediate attention and follows-up on their status. Escalates issues as necessary.
Completes internal requisitions for needed supplies and sees to the adequate storage of supply inventories on assigned decks, and safeguards against waste, shortages or losses.
Ensures fast and smooth delivery of guest luggage and requests.
Ensures that master keys issuance are recorded and turned in during the end of the shift.
Records any item left in staterooms by guests and turns them in to the Guest Service Desk.
Reports any loss or damage of furniture, fixtures or equipment.
Supervises the proper care and use of the equipment, cleaning chemicals, carts, as well as cleaning and cleaning products.
Familiar with chemicals, procedure of making rooms.
Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SEMS, and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position.
