  • All Club InterContinental colleagues’ purpose and commitment is to create memorable and meaningful experiences to our Club InterContinental guests. This will be delivered through warm and genuine service, personal connections and authentic interactions. 
  • The Assistant Manager’s key responsibility is to support the management of the Club InterContinental activities & events with full conversance of our Club InterContinental guest journey experience. He/She is responsible for the quality of service that every guest’s receives during their stay and ensures they  receive the anticipated attention to their needs and wants. 
  • The Club InterContinental Guest Journey includes and is not limited to the following areas: Dedicated and private Butler Services; the pre-arrival; room inspections and ownership of 146 rooms, suites and villas; the welcome; the guest relations function throughout their stay along with all guest requests/needs and service recovery; the farewell; Club InterContinental Lounge, Club InterContinental Pool; Club InterContinental Beach. The Assistant Manager Club InterContinental solely oversees the training of the Club InterContinental team therefore he/she must be knowledgeable and lead in all guest related aspects, delivering the highest quality of service whether it falls under Front office, Housekeeping, Butler Services, Pool and Beach Service or Food and Beverage service. This role must be fully conversant on the  InterContinental Brand Standards, the resort and department metrics to ensure they are upheld at all times within Club InterContinental. 
  • As a key member of the Club InterContinental Leadership team, this role will ensure excellent relations and communications within the Department and cross-resort departments and external stakeholders. He/She will oversee the operations in place of the Director of Club InterContinental in his/her absence. The IHG Winning ways, InterContinental Global Etiquette  will be at the core of all interactions and actions that he/she takes. 
  • He/she will also support the Director of Club InterContinental with administration, succession planning,  performance management and coaching for all team members.

Yêu cầu công việc

High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent.  1 year of Butler/Executive Lounge/Front Office Supervisory experience required. International luxury brand hotel or resort experience is preferred. Strong team leadership, general knowledge of Front Office, Food and Beverage and Housekeeping is preferred. Must be able to read and speak fluent English and the local language. Demonstrated ability to interact with guests and colleagues that reflect on the resort’s brand core service values. Able to manage the shift, support managment of a department, strong intuition and exhibit a dynamic flair. Strong skills in problem handling and any situation that may occur. Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.

• Proven ability to adapt to varying situations and lead the team when under pressure.
• Ability to develop training plans and department procedures.

• Ability to lead in cultivation of a Brand Culture.
