Successfully completing all on-the-job training for assigned functional area to ensure competence of appropriate tasks required of an entry-level management position.
Developing and demonstrating leadership competencies.
Developing and demonstrating tactical operations skills as applicable to assigned functional area.
Welcoming new guests arriving at the hotel restaurants
Helping guests order or settle the bill
Assisting guests with their questions around the restaruants, banquets or lobby areas
Helping in the restaurants at breakfast / lucnh /dinner time when most guests will be present and often have questions about some aspect of their stay at the hotel or their plans for the day
English training to hotel staff
Other duties may be assigned to you depending on the needs of the hotel and your personal skills and interests. These will be discussed with your work supervisor from time to time. You may also get chance to shadow more senior managers after being there for a while and proving the quality of your work.
