Mô tả công việc

1.  Responsible for all activities of the Front Office as well as other hotel activities relating to the operations of the hotel.

2. At the start of shift, the Duty Manager familiarizes himself with the:

a)       Room status of the hotel

b)       Status roster

c)                Report from the previous shift

d)                Correspondence bearing on the current shift

e)               List of arriving and departing VIPs for the day

f)                Group arrivals and departures for the day

g)               Read logbook for follow-ups

3. Ensure that all Front Office staff are well groomed throughout the shift.

4. Maintains a friendly and courteous relationship with all hotel guests.

5. Work closely with the Finance department pertaining to guests with a high balance ledger.

6. Ensure that the Front Office Team Leader/Assistant has reviewed reservations for the day, rooms blocking are done and room availability status is established.

7. Ensure that check-ins and check-outs are proceeding smoothly.

8. Inspect assigned VIP rooms and ensure all amenities are in place before the arrival of the VIP.


ADDITIONAL DUTIES FOR NIGHT SHIFT:

1. Ensure that employee do not use the main entrance

2. Ensure that the night cleaners carry out their duties as assigned

3. Liase closely with the Security Department to ensure that the hotel premises are secured

4. To check the Daily Rate Variance Report for any discrepancy and to do the necessary adjustment before the night audit begins to avoid unnecessary rebate.

5. Ensure that all department reports are generated and distributed on time

6. Ensure that the Front Office is properly staffed

7. Ensure that all Day Use rooms have check-out

8. Ensure that all Wake-up call requests are programmed into the PABX

9. Compile the night shift list and maintain an hourly check of all overnight staff

Yêu cầu công việc

·         Minimum diploma or its equivalent.

·         Good command of verbal and written English and Vietnamese. Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an added advantage.

·         Minimum 2 years working experience in supervisory/ managerial position in Front Office.

·         Proficient management skills.

·         Good knowledge in hotel management software.
