Mô tả công việc

1.             Identifies and handles sales leads effectively and efficiently

2.             Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other ambassadors.

3.                   Be responsible for designated account base.

4.                   Establish list of wholesale accounts with potential.

5.                   Develop an effective market sales and promotional action plan

6.                   Evaluate and organize appropriate sales trips to develop potential markets

7.                   Establish a regular core pattern for meeting with principals of target markets.

8.                   Plan and execute a series of familiarization tours for travel agents, airline ambassador, tour operators, incentive organizers and other industry personnel.

9.                   Develop and refine a comprehensive mailing list for the above mentioned.

10.               Maintain competitor analysis by reviewing the brochures within target markets.

11.               Maintain allotment system, working closely with reservations to monitor materialization.

12.               Liaise with wholesale accounts each quarter to review materialization of allotments.

13.               Complete information sheets on yearly basis for clients as requested.

14.               Hunt for series business to fill low season periods.

15.               Manage brochure contribution commitments, ensuring accounts have appropriate purchase requests. Establish value add package options for low season brochures. Ensure all accounts have updated photography and information for yearly brochures.

16.               Ensure all opportunities to build revenue from the accounts is considered including catering opportunities and restaurant opportunities.

17.               Assist in maintaining a strong team performance.

18.               Assist in developing and implementation direct mail campaigns.

19.               Forecast, analyze and report Sales and Profit results in the market segment.

20.               Input all data in the system for appropriate account management follow up and tracing.

21.               Demonstrate working knowledge of all tasks within your area of responsibility.

22.               Participate actively in the regular sales meeting to keep ambassador and management informed and to foster two-way communication.

23.               Cooperate with other sections and departments.

24.               Set joint objectives and goals with General Manager within appropriate time frames and measure performance against objectives.

25.               Ensure the team to have a high level of product knowledge so they are able to explain service and facilities to client as required.

26.               Develop an awareness of local service and facilities.

27.               Identify opportunities for value added services to increase sales profitability and anticipate client needs.

28.               Ensure the team understand the benefits of the Loyalty Program.

29.               Demonstrate effective selling techniques in promoting our products and services.

30.               Demonstrate effective verbal and non-verbal communication skill.

31.               Ensure guest comments are recorded in guest history record and acted on when appropriate.

32.               Prepare the monthly outlook/forecast.

33.               Monitor account activity and make adjustments when necessary.

34.               Implement cost saving methods for the department in line with corporate policy.

35.               Negotiate contracts only with approved suppliers as per corporate management policy and procedures.

36.               Participate in the preparation of the Strategic Business Plan.

37.               Submit recommendation for capital expenditure, equipment and personnel requirements.

38.               Seek opportunities to continually improve client service.

39.               Monitor all product and performance standards and ensure action is taken when standards are not being met.

40.               Act on potential client complaints and report to appropriate personnel.

41.               Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.

42.               Analyses reports and make recommendations.

43.               Ensure files, correspondence and other relevant business documentation are maintained.

44.               Deliver enthusiastic, positive, helpful and respectful client communication, ensuring precise and effective information transfer.

45.               Ensure recovery calls are dealt with in an appropriate manner.

46.               Be well versed and knowledgeable of Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the workplace.

47.               Coordination of all aspects of the departments operation to ensure that the services of the Department are delivered to guests or internal customers with the aim of exceeding guest expectations and in accordance with Brand Standards and Procedures.

Yêu cầu công việc

  • ·         Education:

3 years degree from an Accredited University in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major.

  • ·         Experience:

3 to 4 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
