Mô tả công việc

1. To assist the Sales Manager in maximizing the occupancy, average rate and hotel’s profit by

planning, guidance and training of the sales team.


2. To supervise the sales team ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are

maintained and to back up the activities of any member of the sales team when required.


3.To assist in the training of the sales team ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform

their duties with maximum efficiency.


4. To represent the sales function and needs of the hotel in absence of the Sales Manager.

 

5. To actively assist in the preparation of the annual Marketing Plan and any other promotional

campaigns with the view of increasing hotel sales. 


6. To systematically and effectively cover corporate and travel industry accounts within the

assigned territories in order to ensure maximum productivity from each assigned account.


7. To be knowledgeable and familiar with the hotel, its’ facilities and special promotions with the

Rooms, F&B and Banqueting department.


8. To ensure all assigned accounts are in possession of all relevant information regarding the

hotel, its’ facilities and relevant special promotions.


9. To identify market needs by periodical guest survey and to both knowledgeable on market

movements and seasonal influences that may affect the hotel’s productivity.


10. To ensure all sales lead are properly followed up, traced and if the business is confirmed, to

ensure proper handover to the respective colleagues concerned.


11. To prepare sales calls schedule monthly, weekly and daily and to achieve a minimum call

frequency of 24 sale calls and 25 telephone calls weekly.


12. To conduct periodic outstation or overseas calls as determined by the sales activities plans and

to establish a budget such trips.


13. To conduct professional and proper hotel inspection for educational groups together with the

preparation of sales kits, give-away, etc.


14. To record weekly expenses incurred during sales or outstation calls and submission of such

claim must not be later than 01 week before effecting claim.


15. To review production of active assigned accounts and the hotel’s key customers on a weekly

and monthly basis.


16. To establish appropriate room rates for hotel accounts in accordance to the hotel’s rate

policies.


17. To recommend credit rating/facility for the hotel accounts and to assist in the collection of

debts, when necessary.


18. To maintain accurate account profiles and update files on all active accounts according to the

given policies & procedures.


19. To attend sales & marketing meetings fully prepared and report on actions to be followed up.


20. To carry out all sales activities as outlined in the sales activities plans.


21. To undertake market research on the competition during sales calls visits and report on rate

strategies and special offers or promotions competitors hotels.


22. To attend and assist in all VIP function and events hosted by the hotel.


23. To attend industry association events, trade shows, promotions etc. Representing the hotel in

general to maintain a high profile in market place.


24. To be well-groomed and representable at all times whilst on duty to conjure a professional

image of the hotel.


25. To respond to any changes in the department functions as dictated by the industry, company

or hotel.

Yêu cầu công việc

·         Minimum diploma or its equivalent.

·     Good command of verbal and written English and Vietnamese. Knowledge of an additional foreign language is an added advantage.

·         Minimum 2 years working experience in supervisory/ managerial position in Sales & Marketing.

·         Proficient management skills.

·      Leadership and organizational abilities.

·      Interpersonal and communication skills.
