JOB SUMMARY:

To assist the Front Office Manager in administrating Front Office for smooth operation, effective business and people development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist the Front Office Manager in efficiently managing the department providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times.

- Ensure to maintain an updated awareness of hotel product knowledge, current promotion, policy changes and appropriate internal communication.

- Liaise with Housekeeping and other related departments on daily operation.

- Assist FO Shift Leader in their daily role and support where necessary.

- Ensure that Front Office plays a supportive role to all other sections as and when needed.

- Ensure that the daily Duty Managers log is properly and clearly updated and all traces are properly followed up in a timely basis

- Ensure Front Office operates with a sales attitude, and all personnel are aware of sales and opportunities within the hotel, which will assist with the maximization of revenue.

- Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to Front Office Manager if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.

- Establish rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship and handle all guest complaints, requests and enquiries on Front Office services.

- Personally and frequently verify that guests checking in and out are receiving the best possible service in line with Hotel Standards.

- Ensure that all VIP/Long Staying/ repeat guest guests are met on arrival by the Front Office Managers and where appropriate General Manager.

- Maintain awareness of new market trends and activities of competitors to ensure that the operation remains preferable in the eye of customer.

QUALIFICATIONS

- At least 2 year of experience in similar position perferably in hospitality business

- Computer literate

- Excellent English language skills

- Good health, pleasant personality and neat appearance

- Able to cope with pressure
