Director, Casino Marketing Communications

Position Summary:

Director of Casino Marketing and Communications will be primarily responsible for managing the Company’s internal & external communication strategy. This will include, but not limited to, assisting with the Strategic Communications Plan; an integrated social media strategy; developing relationships with related media outlets; and providing updates and a synopsis of external news that may impact Hoiana Casino.

This position is responsible for safeguarding and developing Hoiana Casino reputation, and activities that support Hoiana Casino business objectives. Additionally, this individual is responsible for developing community and business relations to further enhance the Hoiana Casino’ brand. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.

Duties may include but not limited to:

 Plans and implements Casino’s Marketing Communications policies and procedures.

 Directs press relations including preparation of news releases and feature articles, making arrangements for interviews and photo and video shootings between company and press, radio, and television representatives.

 Provides assistance to Casino personnel in writing speeches, preparing letters and drafting articles that are to be made public.

 Advises on the preparation and presentation of product shows, displays and exhibits.

 Coordinates with marketing and advertising personnel the advertising and sales promotion material with public relations objectives.

 Advises management on community relations’ projects and activities.

 Collaborate with external clients to develop brand campaigns of each business unit.

 Assist Casino Events & Promotions, Loyalty Marketing, F&B, Entertainment and other stakeholders in communication of each business unit campaigns.

 Assists with the development and maintenance of a detailed Policies & Procedures, work processes and standards of performance within the Division. Ensures annual review to accurately reflect any changes.

 Assists with the preparation of the annual Marketing Business Plan, ensuring Divisional Objectives fully address business objectives of the Casino and needs of employees.

 Assists with the preparation and regular update of the Departmental Budget, ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.

 Ensures that an organized, up-to-date filing system is maintained for all communications records.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING EXPERIENCE

 Solid background in Casino Marketing Communications

 Sound knowledge of all marketing communication channels

 Strong creativity

 Hands on experience in publishing tools/software, and strong layout skills

 Excellent written and verbal communications in English; Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a big plus

 Experience in dealing/communicating with local Vietnamese as well as targeted readers and understanding of their preferences

 Possess good research skills with accuracy and attention to detail

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communication/PR/Journalism/Tourism is required; Master’s degree in Marketing Communication/PR is preferred
