Mô tả công việc
• Register guests and assigns rooms, accommodate special request whenever possible.
• Assists in preregistration and blocking of rooms for reservations.
• Thoroughly understand and adhere to proper credit, check-cashing and cash handling policies and procedures.
• Answer all incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner.
• Know room locations, types of rooms available, room rates, benefit and promotion (if yes)
• Know the hotel information and hotel services to provide guest the information.
• Present options, alternatives to guests and offer assistance in making choices.
• Sale the hotel services like transportation and tour.
• Update room status to the Housekeeping Department by notification housekeeping of all check-out, late check-out, early check-in, special request and day use rooms.
• Know the VIP treatment procedure
• Take same day reservations from the Reservation Agent and future reservation when necessary.
• Determinate the guest’s reservation status and how long the guest will stay.
• Prepare registration cards, assign rooms, accommodate special requests (if yes), make room key, prepare Welcome Letter and do request for VIP treatment (if yes)
• Prepare and double-check for Transportation requires.
• Know cancellation policy and procedure.
• Know how to use the Front Office equipment and software.
• Perform cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, check method of payment and follow the balance of reservations.
• Perform cashiering task like bill or invoice settlement, posting charges to the guest.
• Maintain a complete understanding of the Employee Handbook and adhere to regulations contained therein
• Maintain a complete understanding of the Hotel’s policy.
• Monitor guest feedback and make recommendations for improvements or new products or services to meet the guest needs.
• Make reporting for Daily Revenue and Daily Invoice then report to FOM & FOS.
• Report to MOD, FOM about the guest complaints, feedbacks or unexpected situations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and nearness of the front desk area.
• Understand that business demands sometimes make it necessary to move the Employees from their accustomed shift to other shift.
• Able to multi-task and priorities task consistent with business objectives.
• Perform other assignments to meet business needs as directed by your superiors.
