Recreation Manager

We seek an experienced and qualified Recreation Manager to ensure we deliver high quality service to our guests. The Recreation Facilities comprises of a fully equipped gymnasium, swimming pools, Children’s Club – Planet Trekkers and the exclusive beach area.

• Coordinate the delivery of all recreational guest services and organize guests’ activities.

• Co-ordinate the maintenance of all recreational facilities and equipment

• Responsible for the safety of all recreation areas.

• Staff management

• Comply with all Hotel and corporate guidelines (eg signage guidelines, safety guidelines, etc)

• Adhere to departmental cleaning and maintenance programs

• Works with Director of Operations in the preparation and management of the department’s budget.

• Ensure resort property is safe and secure

• Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.

• Strong Leadership skills in managing teams to drive for results.

• Excellent communicative and writing skills

• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Sports Science or Hospitality Tourism equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years in resorts of international standard.
