Assistant Manager, Learning & Development

Duties may include but not limited to:

 Assist in the development and execution of training plans and programs that is aligned to the business goals & departmental learning objectives

 Develop a structured approach for individual Casino departments to plan, communicate and execute individual development plans/ learning opportunities.

 Provide training direction that is consistent with departmental service standards and service culture.

 Take a hand on approach to facilitating departmental training sessions as well as courses offered by Group

 Support a core group of Departmental Trainers to ensure training is conducted as scheduled and aligned to standards

 Design & Develop training outlines, training manuals and support materials for customized courses.

 Plan/prepare and conduct Train the Trainer seminar to certify Department Trainers in English

 Utilize an evaluation system to ensure training delivery is to standard and audit effectiveness of training completed.

 Support departments to achieve service quality-oriented objectives via customized and effective training

 Facilitate orientation programs across all designated departments to ensure effectiveness and consistency in assimilation and learning outcomes for new hires

 Maintain & manage training records at the designated system.

 Plan, prepare and execute monthly engagement/recognition activities.

 Ensure Casino is well represented and performs commendably in all industry-based competitions

 Special project work as required

Qualifications/Requirements:

 Possess a natural passion on training, people orientated, positive and confident

 Dynamic presentational skills

 Fluent spoken and written in English, Vietnamese; additional foreign languages such as Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a big advantage.

 Demonstrate well developed project planning skills

 Tertiary qualifications (Hospitality, Human Resources, or related discipline) preferable

 Must have minimum of 3 years' experience in a HR/Training function

 Operations experience in a 5-star luxury international environment highly desirable

 Strong knowledge & skills of Microsoft Office suite of products

 Bachelor’s Degree, College or University Degree in related field preferred, from an accredited institution, and/ or equivalent work experience.
