- AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Participates in the development and implementation of business strategies for IT which are aligned with Radisson Hotel Group’s overall mission, vision values, and strategies
- Troubleshoots and provides technical support
- Trains managers and staff on use of hotel applications
- Troubleshoots common problems and works with the corporate helpdesk and infrastructure teams to resolve IT issues
- Schedules and shares timing/impact of changes with appropriate hotel staff
- Maintains hotel user accounts in Opera, Connect, Radisson Hotel Group Learning Network, and other hotel applications
- Maintains availability and security of networks throughout the hotel
- Monitors wireless network for hotel guests and employees
- Keeps networks compliant with corporate guidelines
- Maintains network security
- Stays current on technical updates and changes to hotel utilized applications
- Attends training and certification updates to hotel applications
- Reviews updates provided by software and hardware vendors
- Relays important information and timing of new releases, system repairs, and downtime
- Establishes and maintains IT vendor relationships
- Work with venders to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Periodically submit requests for proposals (RFP) to new and existing vendors for IT-related supplies and services
- Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
- Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service
- Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
- Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
- Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
- Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality
- Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
- Keep Financial Controller and/or General Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position
- Maintains a favourable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment
- At all times projects a favourable image of the Hotel to the public
- Abide by all Brand rules and regulations
- Adhere to all Brand policies and procedures
- Actively support and promote Workplace Health and Safety within the work environment
- Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by the Financial Controller or his/her designate

Yêu cầu công việc
Minimum of two years of IT experience with similar responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and management
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office, Windows XP/7, Windows Server 2003/2008
Familiar with network security and encryption, including PCI standards
Experience with Micros, Intelity, and other hotel related applications a plus
Experience with general networking and IP telephony a plus
Related IT certifications a plus
