F&B manager

SUMMARY

-Oversee all F&B activities in the hotels including supervision all operating activities, maximizing revenue and profit of all outlets while ensure the best services in compliance with local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Oversee daily activities of restaurants, bars, outlets, kitchen, catering and banquet operation

-Coordinate with Engineering team to establish an maintenance program to make sure all equipment in good condition.

-Be responsible for saving hotel asset/ energy/ water/ chemical and propose the saving ideas to management.

-Produce Department/ each outlet’s target and strive to achieve it

-Coordinate with S&M department to archive best result in promoting products and services.

-Develop and manage quality, cost management systems.

-Work with Financial Controller to produce and manage department’s budget and P&L.

-Develop strategic plans to archive department and hotel’s objectives and action plans accordingly.

-Provides a professional, advisory and executive support service to the General Manager to assist in meeting strategic goals

-Produce regular reports per request such as Revenue Forecast, Cost Control, manning, promotion plan.

-Ensure strictly compliance to brand standards and government law on Health and Safety.

-Develop and manage effective training program to staffs in department to ensure latest product and service updates and essential service skills to optimize guest’s satisfaction.

Education and/or Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field.

-At least 2 year Experience in F&B management position in an international 5 star hotel/resort with clear track record.

-At least 5 year experience in the hospitality industry, with mid-scale to luxury and international experience, preferred in Asia.

Skills

-A strong understanding of F&B operations in 4-5 star international hotels/resorts.

-Excellent management skills, decision making ability and extensive hands-on experience

-Excellent English skills in both verbal and written communication

-Excellent communication skill to interact with guests, potential clients, head office, suppliers, contractors and authorities.

-Perform well under stress and be adaptable to changing work environments

-Strong leadership skills with ability to train and develop team members
