Assistant Wardrobe Manager

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

• Achieve Wardrobe OPEX and CAPEX budget
• Ensure all uniforms are maintained to achieve required employee uniform standards
• Ensure the quality and use by dates of all uniforms is monitored and replaced as required
• Ensure all Wardrobe staff are trained in all aspects of the wardrobe operations
• Ensure all deliveries and collections of clean and soiled uniforms from and to the Central Laundry are on time, correctly recorded and of the required standard

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES​

• In the absence of the Manager, Assistant Manager will be responsible to represent Wardrobe Department both internally and externally as required (i.e. meetings and all uniform concern that requires immediate attention.)
• Point person with regards to fittings of newly hired employees.
• Responsible in reporting the status of the spare uniforms to the Wardrobe Manager for additional order requirements.
• Monthly extraction of static uniform inventory report.
• Delegation of the Change Uniform Request and compilation of forms after completion.
• Terminating of resigned employee to the system.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures and give out necessary Notice to explain and carry out disciplinary action.
• Effectively and efficiently manage work flow of the department.
• Close coordinate with other departments to any uniform concern.
• In-charge for monitoring the uniform system to ensure optimum capability of the system are utilized.
• Safe keeping of documents.
• Preparation of necessary documents of the uniforms that needs to be ordered/replaced prior to approval of the Wardrobe Manager.
• Have full operational knowledge of the uniform conveyor system (hardware and software) as well as the uniform tracking systems implemented by the Central Laundry.
• Be able to extract and interpret required reports and data from the software systems utilized in both Central Laundry and Wardrobe.
• Constant improvement of the established SOP and P&P.
• Responsible for the evaluation of the Wardrobe Supervisors.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager.

• At least 2 years college degree.
• With at least 2year’s experience in a high-volume Wardrobe operation with conveyor type uniform distribution system and uniform inventory system
• With strong administrative background and knowledge of the uniform inventory system.
• Computer Literate
• Knowledgeable with fabric composition
• Conversant with laundry procedure of different fabrics.
• With strong people handling skills.
• Proficient in uniform budget making.
• Flexible and able to work under pressure
• Team player.
