Director of Sales

• Functions as the leader of the hotel’s segmented sales effort (group, transient, association, corporate, etc.) and has responsibility for implementing the segment sales strategy and achieving segment revenue goals, property revenue goals, guest and associate satisfaction.

• Leads and manages all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives.

• Achieves personal booking goals and makes recommendations on direct reports booking goals.

• Under the general guidance and supervision of Director of Sales and Marketing and in keeping with the delegation of authority, oversees day to day sales efforts of Senior Sales Managers, Sales Managers, Sales Executives, with specific responsibilities for directing sales, training, and implementing action plans set forth in the marketing plan.

• Fluent English in both written and spoken

• Knowledgeable about principles and processes for providing customer and personal services

• Passionate about meeting customers and making sales

• Able to develop and execute corporate sales and wholesales strategies to achieve segment revenue goals, hotel revenue goals as well guest satisfaction

• Creative, well organized, willing to work under high pressure

• Good computer skills

• Good management skills

• Working experience in the international hotel in the same position should be priority
