Staff Village Recreation Supervisor

• Controls and applies strictly regulations of the Village and the department.

• Establishes standard operating procedures, workflows and quality control plans in accordance with the Village standards, procedures and quality policies.

• Assists to Staff Village Manager in monitoring daily activities of all employees in the Recreation department to ensure they adhere to the standard operating procedures, internal rules and regulations, Code of Conduct and other policies.

• Assigns task to Recreation Officers and monitors to ensure all assigned tasks are well performed and completed timely.

• Directs and coordinates daily operations of Recreation department to ensure resident satisfaction by providing a variety of entertainment and recreation activities.

• Creates, develops and implements periodical recreational activity calendars and makes sure they are exposed to all in-house residents.

• Organizes special events, holiday activities for residents in accordance with policies and inline with budget.

• Ensures all recreation spaces including Recreation room, Gymnasium room, Karaoke rooms, Sport courts and playground are kept clean, all furnitures, facilities are organized, secured and well maintained at all time.

• Administers inventories of equipment, materials and supplies and informs of low supply items.

• Encourages, consults, registers and schedule residents to participate in recreational activities.

• Provides information to new residents about available recreational facilities and activities upon their arrivals

• Instructs the rules and regulations of the recreational facilities intended for the safety and welfare of the residents. Be aware of possible situations where residents are not able to safely participate in an activity.

• Instructs, monitors to ensure equipment are utilized and operated properly and residents are following user guidelines.

• Observes activities in the recreational facilities and response appropriately in accordance with standard operating procedures in the event of an emergency.

• Maintains complete knowledge of all Village entertainment and recreational facilities as well as policies.

• Ensures completion of all departmental daily/weekly/monthly reports in an accurate and timely fashion

• Investigates complaints regarding recreation services and equipment and take corrective action accordingly. Communicates resident feedback with Village Management and plans for future improvement

• Coaches and conducts on-the-job training to improve staff skills.

• To comply with all standards of performance, operational policies, practises and procedures.

• Vocational degree and a higher education completed required.

• Two years of experience in similar role in large-scale Hotels/Resorts or Staff Accommodation Facility.

• Ability to communicate fluently in the English and Vietnamese language.

• Outstanding and professional communication & presentation skills, both oral and written.

• Effective at fostering productive relations with peers and residents

• Well organized, multitask, detail oriented, problem solving.

• Must be able to work self-directed, handle a fast-paced, busy, under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail.

• Must have the ability to respond to difficult or stressful situations with tact and diplomacy.

• Microsoft Office knowledge is required.
