Mô tả công việc

POSITION: BANQUET SALES EXECUTIVE. At least 1 years experience in 3 or 4 stars hotel or any sector of the hospitality industry with the same position. Banquet sales executive is responsible for planning and managing banquet sales volume of F&B department. Line of Reporting: General Manager JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. finding the new client & resource for the event/function

2. Preparation and follow - up of conference, corprorate and social function proposals, tailored to specifically meet the needs of each client.

3. Prepare action plans and other relevant paperwork to effectively communicate guests’ need to internal and external sources.

4. Complete organization of conference, corprorate, major events and social events from confirmation to post- event follow- up  in oder to ensure clients satisfaction

5. Co-ordination and hosting of site inspection activity including follow-up.

6. Be present in the lobby to greet clients and be ready to proceed with inspections a minimum of 10 minutes prior to agreed meeting time.

7. Answer all correspondence and enquiries received during the working week within 24 hours of receipt; maintain good public relations with customers.

8. Represent the Club/Hotel at various functions and meetings as necessary.

9. Attend internal and external meetings as necessary.

10. Liaise with other departments and within the Conference and Event sales department effectively.

11. Follow up outstanding accounts.

12. Handle inquiries and Walk-in as required.

13. Assist Conference and event Operations as necessary.

14. Work in association with Conference and Events Sales team to ensure deadlines are achieved.

15. Develop close relationships with other hotels, suppliers and contractors and all event clients, past, present and future.

16. Ensure there is an active presence in the hotels as required by business demands or customer and staff needs.

17. Develop through knowledge of competitive properties.

18. Maintain professional appearance at all times and to conduct personal behaviors in a mature and professional business manner when representing the Property.

19. Carefully respond to all requests for explanations or any complaints by the customer within 48 hours. If this is not possible, inform the customer precisely when he or she can expect a response and ensure

1. Strong administration skill and highly organized with excellent attention to details.

2. Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

3. Initiates contact and establish rapport easily.

4. Personalizes communication style and method as appropriate for clients’ needs

5. Handles tasks carefully and correctly-is thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency.

6. Is observant with a perception for ones surroundings.

7. Demonstrates versatility in responding to guest requests and situations.

8. Remain calm and effective in high volume work situations.

9. Good team player; contributes to and assists co-workers without being asked

10. Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development.
