Marketing Executive

Being at the helm of planning and managing marketing activities, a marketing support responsibilities and duties are as follows:

• To execute and analyze the success of marketing campaigns and advertisements.

• Work with the market research team to develop case studies, templates, customer appreciation letters and interpret customer purchasing statistics.

• Develop realistic marketing strategies, objectives, targets and measures.

• Manage online marketing campaigns and publish write ups on blogs and social networking websites.

• Participate in press meetings, product launch and writing press releases.

• Develop monthly updates of pricing sheets, date sheets and keep an update about price changes.

• Manage marketing newsletters and use latest technology for achieving a greater audience.

• Represent the firm in corporate events, industrial meets, trade shows and marketing conferences.

• Build a score system for evaluating the quality of a product.

WORK CHARACTERISTICS:

Must be able to work independently, as well as have the ability to consider, evaluate and make sound business decisions regarding question as problem solving. Must be familiar with all hotel’s procedures and regulations.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Being a marketing support demands excellent multitasking abilities and superb oral and written communication skills.

• The basic requirement of marketing jobs is fluency and deftness in communication skills, so, anybody aspiring to be a marketing professional, must develop very good written and verbal communication skills.

• A candidate who is well-aware of various marketing tools and techniques and knows what this field entails is always preferred by firms.

• If the aspirant possesses good work experience in marketing field, he stands a better chance of qualifying for the job.

• Minimum of 1 years in marketing experience. Preferably in the hospitality industry. Ability to work in a computer based, multi-task environment. Languages: fluent in English language (both verbally and in writing)

EDUCATION, SKILLS

• Degree/ Certification in marketing is necessary for pursuing various careers in marketing.
