Assistant Finance Manager (AFM)

2. Check and verify all accounting entries before posting to General Ledger

3. Perform month end closing and prepare accurate financial reports as required by the management.

4. Perform monthly financial variance analysis and reports to Finance Manager by 4th of each month.

5. Process all payments by cheque or bank transfer and to ensure all payments are well supported with source documents before submitting for check signatories.

6. Check and verify all reports prepare by his/her down line before submitting to Finance Manager for review or approval.

7. Maintain and keep up to date fixed assets register

8. Prepare monthly creditors aging report.

9. Review and closely monitor debtor’s collections and debtors’ aging.

10. Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliation and follow-up if there is any discrepancies with the bank.

11. Liaise with the relevant local authorities to ensure compliance of local laws and regulations.

12. In charge of the half-yearly and year-end physical stock take.

13. Prepare all statutory reporting to the relevant government department promptly.

14. Monitor the expiry date of licenses and insurance policies.

15. Assist in all local tax matters.

16. Perform Manager on Duty functions on rotating basis.

17. To relieve the Finance Manager’s on her/his duties in his/her absence.

18. Carry out any other tasks or ad-hoc assignment from time to time as required by the Management.

2. Experience: At least 3 years as the same position in an operating Joint Venture company (preferably in the hospitality industry).

3. Competencies: Competent in Microsoft Office, with analytical mind and good verbal & written English communication skills.
