• Supervise day-to-day housekeeping activities, plan and assign work for rooms and public areas cleaning, valet service, linen & uniform service and maintenance.
• Provide mentoring, coaching, training and regular feedback to eliminate conflict and improve team member performance to ensure outstanding housekeeping technical skills are developed and maintained at all levels.
• Educate and train all employees in compliance with governmental and safety regulations. Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Recommend to (Assistant) Executive Housekeeper any salary, disciplinary, or other staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies.
• Assist in preparing monthly Housekeeping meetings with relevant colleagues relating to, but not limited to, the following: Overall performance, Projected business, Operations feedback and issues, Changes in procedures and policies, Quality improvement (Guest Love), Productivity improvement
• Attends all other meetings as required by the administrative calendar
• Maintain proper inventory levels, managing cost per room for supplies and labour (example: bed & bath linen reuse and laundry operation).
• Operate smooth, efficient, cost effective operation including labour management, supervision of all aspects of inventory control: manage storage area, maintain adequate stock levels.
• Ensure a monthly inventory of stock and linen
• Ensure a reasonable usage of the hotel’s collateral, equipment and resources
• Assist with addressing customer questions and issues relating to housekeeping.
• Conduct a daily inspection of rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens, and public areas are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction.
• Oversee the implementation of laundry & uniform room standards and procedures. Maintain a thorough knowledge of all laundry & uniform systems.
• Advise employees of deficiencies and instruct on corrective action. Provide adequate retraining as needed.
• Works with the (Assistant) Executive Housekeeper on routine cleaning programs including spring cleans, special projects (public area window & carpet routine cleaning, room inventory and fix asset inventory).
• Recommended changes and training needs on an ongoing basis
• Open and close the shift and ensure effective shift hand over.
• Perform Room allocations
• Perform Room inspections according to Brand Standards
• Priorities arrival rooms and liaise with Front Office for guest and hotel requirements
• Ensure guest valet is processed and delivered in a timely manner
• Manage all special requests made by guests.
• Ensure complete knowledge of room types, layouts and facilities
• Routinely perform all housekeeping duties necessary including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning guest suites to ensure guest satisfaction. Responsible Business
• Maintain and order supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste and maintaining “green” initiatives (example: container recycling and cleaning agents).
• Assist in maintaining procedures for security of lost and found, key control, security and emergency procedures, health and safety for employees and guests
• Supervises outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance.
• Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Aware and familiar with measures and procedures to follow during emergency situations
• Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety.
• Ensure P&P and SOPs are regularly updated
• Adhere to all local governmental regulations, brand standards, hotel and company policies and procedures

Yêu cầu công việc
• Must speak Vietnamese fluently and English (high proficiency)
• Good Leadership skills in managing teams
• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
