Electrician (Thợ điện)

• Assist the Engineering supervisor with general hotel and building maintenance and ensure that work is completed to a high standard within your established trade which meets the needs and expectations of your customers.

• Provide special expertise and handle all repair and maintenance of various electrical systems

• Provide special expertise and handle high voltage electrical systems as required.

• Attends to repairs and maintenance of electrical circuits in all areas of hotel control.

• Attends preventive maintenance on electrical panels/ equipment.

• Advises improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system.

• Attends to repair and maintenance of electric equipment such as Gen-set, MSB, DB and other commercial/industrial electric equipment.

• Attends to all types of repair and maintenance work in the Hotel premises including any new additions / extensions to the Hotel or any other properties maintained by the Hotel.

• Participates in Hotel Energy Conservation Program.

• Use initiative and foresight to undertake tasks outlined within the preventative maintenance program without the direction of the Shift Engineer/Chief Engineer.

• Responsible for servicing and attending to repairs on various types of equipment such as laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, including motors, pumps, fans, water treatment plants, sewage treatment plant and electricity generators, electric lights & powers, CCTV, telephone, TV, fire lives and safety equipment & system.

• Supervises and checks up the quality and condition of the repairs.

• Informs his superior on the goods and materials to order.

• Apply strictly all safety and hygiene policy, regulation and procedures of the hotel.

• Participate in all Maintenance meetings.

• Sets up the conference/ ball room when asked by the supervisor.

• Maintains, checks and monitors all electrical activities of the hotel.

• Keeps all electrical installation in top operational condition.

• Checks daily the light system of the hotel.

• Fixes all breakdowns of electricity for lighting and all electrical equipment within the Building

• Follows up daily all technical standards of the generators to avoid breakdown.

• Prepares all the job orders assigned by the supervisor.

• Follows all requirements of the job order.

• Check the problem and faults.

• Prepares the required material for the job.

• Rectifies and solves the problems.

• Ensure a reasonable usage of the hotel’s collaterals, equipment and resources
