JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the quality of all Venue Management.

Please note that this is not all the work you will do. The Eight Four Collective Partners will always try to find new ways to take care of their businesses, customers and colleagues. Your main responsibilities for this position are:

Please note that this is not a comprehensive list of everything that you will do. Eight Four Collective associates will always endeavor to find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Your key responsibilities for this position are:

• To manage the bar / restaurant / kitchen to achieve maximum volume daily of sales performance and hygiene.

• To open and close the venue as instructed and to ensure the venue is secure

• To manage staffing levels and write rosters to achieve budgeted staffing targets whilst maintaining the highest service standards.

• To manage the stock control and ordering processes for the venue

• To maintain an exciting and varied beverage selection.

• To cash off the till accurately and report any variations to the area manager.

• To manage and catalog all invoices for the venue and provide to area manager.

• To meet budgeted profit targets through control of staffing, pricing and driving revenue.

• To communicate all important information to the area manager in relation to the venues' performance, key guests and issues on a nightly basis via email, and for urgent matters immediately via telephone.

• To manage and control Responsible Service of Alcohol in the venue and ensure all staff adhere to practicing RSA and all legal requirements for the venue are met.

• To actively drive increased revenue and take responsibility for revenue increasing initiatives.

• To achieve the highest standards of guest satisfaction and recognition through personal welcomes and relationships with our guests, and FOH training.

• To motivate the front of house team to provide exceptional service and meet sales targets.

• Be knowledgeable and have a full understanding of all products and techniques used in the restaurant and train staff to be well versed and knowledgeable in all products.

• To provide the area manager with staffing reports on a weekly basis for pay processing.

• To create weekly reports for the Director of Operations, Director fo Food & Beverage & Group General Manager with information on the venues performance including wages, revenue, purchasing, OH&S, any service issues and all other relevant info

• To maintain a strong team through trainings, use of regular feedback, rewards, organizing social activities and discipline.

• To maintain a clean environment throughout the restaurant.

• To lead by example

• To actively motivate the team and individuals in the team by creating a stimulating, positive and energetic working atmosphere.

• To communicate with the Head Chef, Managers, the team and individuals in a friendly, courteous and professional manner

• To take a "hands on" approach as appropriate to the needs of the business.

• To work as and where directed by management.

• To be proactive in solving problems as they occur and to stay calm and focused in such situation.

• Managing and supervising staff:

• Ensure the correct and regular training and recognition is provided to all staff, motivate and encourage staff, be involved and in charge of the weekly staff schedules and rosters and approve leave requests. Ensure all staff are working in a safe environment and are treated with respect.

• Housekeeping:

• Responsible for maintaining high standards of quality control of food presentation, hygiene and health and safety, assisting stock levels and ordering of supplies.

• Business Activities:

• Handle responsibility for the restaurant business performance. Analyze and report on restaurant sales and service issues, prepare reports, adhere to budgets with senior management and review and monitor expenditures to ensure conformance to budget. Monitor wages and sales costs. Daily Cash ups. Maximise revenue potential whilst working with marketing department.

• Customer Service:

• Manage escalated issues with customers relating to their dining experience. Ensure that all staff are trained on customer service skills and any issues escalated to them are dealt with accordingly.

• Front of House Duties:

• Ensure the restaurant is always neat tidy and clean, staff are wearing the correct uniform and staff appearances are also neat and tidy and adhere to uniform policy.

• Health & Safety:

• Ensure Workplace Health and Safety standards are applied in your property.

• Confidentiality:

• Ensure all business conversations with managers are kept confidential at all times

• Compliance:

• Ensure all legal compliances are adhered to at all times.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

The employee is expected to work in other areas of the venues when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
