Mô tả công việc

The Assistant MICE Manager is responsible for:

 Develop and set revenue sales strategies for the hotel to ensure plans are implemented, results

are monitored and sales goals are achieved. Regularly sell hotel rooms, meeting rooms, and

food and beverage through direct client contacts.

Financial returns:

 Be responsible for saving hotel asset/ energy/ water/ chemical and propose the saving ideas to management

 Understanding department’s and hotel’s product, and upsell to the guest, or recommend hotel products to the guest.

 Report Lost and Found immediately to Security

 Research and report upon Market trends as well as market intelligence.

 Prepare daily and monthly Banquet Sales Report (business negotiating, business confirmed and business lost; always aware of the reason of losing business in order to improve for furtherbusiness opportunities).

Guest experience:

 Perform Brand’s Services behaviours in daily operation basic towards the guests

 Ensure consistency service within the department

 Sharing guest feedback to the team

 Manage all requests made by guests, or special request from guest that your staff reported to you

 Entertain potential accounts where necessary.

 Respond to all Banquet requests within 48 hours.

 Establish beneficial relationships with our clients, especially in the Food and Beverage commercial sector to sell Banquet space.

 Interact with potential clients and industry trade representatives of competitive hotels.

 Handle office phone calls in a timely and efficient manner.

 Be able to conduct an intensive Hotel site inspection and join any hosted function as directed by the Management.

Responsible business:

 Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure

 Be responsible in protecting the environment such as the trees, the sea, and special species

 Understand and ensure your staff understanding IHG Brand Standard related to your department

 Recommended changes to these standards

 Open and close the shift, ensure effective shift hand over

 Co-ordinate special projects as required, such as…

 Rotate the roles (cross training) within department when required

 Sell and promote Banquet Function for all meeting and event.

 Prepare proposals and contract letters to customers in a efficient and timely manner.

 Follow up business under negotiation as well as take care of confirmed business.

 Issue Event Order’s for daily functions ideally 5 days before function, except for Last Minute functions.

 Prepare daily and monthly Banquet Sales Report (business negotiating, business confirmed and

business lost; always aware of the reason of losing business in order to improve for further business opportunities).

 Attend daily sales briefings.

 Work closely with the Banquet Department, the F&B Director and the Chef to ensure complete follow up a function.

 Attend to do any other duties as directed by the Management.

 Solicit maximum business from market segments as assigned by Director of Catering/ DOSM/ General Manager  when required.

 Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety.

 Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

 Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.

 Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.

 Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

 Good writing skills

Qualifications:

 Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Experience :

 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related

experience.
