Mô tả công việc
1. To assist in the preparation of the Department Budget.
2. To ensure that all V.I.P.'s, rooms are checked prior to the arrival of the guest for 100% readiness.
3. To conduct daily AM/PM Housekeeping meetings to keep employees informed of policies and procedures, special events, further improvement plans and guest comments.
4. To conduct training courses for new employees and regular "refresher" courses for newly hired and existing employees.
5. To conduct employee evaluations for all Housekeeping employees to review their general performance, discuss existing performance and areas of improvements.
6. To interview potential new employees in liaison with the Personnel Department.
7. To supervise the department's orientation programmers for new employees to ensure that they understand the policies and procedure of the hotel.
8. To ensure that all departmental reports and correspondence are completed punctually and accurately.
9. To ensure proper control of master keys of the resort.
10. To ensure proper requisitioning and controlling of supplies.
11. To ensure proper assignments of work to Housekeeping employees.
12. To ensure effective control of linen (i.e. receiving, recording, storage, etc.).
13. Assumes responsibilities of Executive Housekeeper in his/ her absence.
14. Assists in directing the functions of administration.
15. Prepares schedules of Housekeeping Supervisor and overseas other staff rosters.
16. Assists in implementing and maintaining the procedures and policies established with Front Office, Food and Beverage, Banquet, Laundry, Engineering, Personnel, Training, Security, Linen Room and Contract Cleaner.
17. Regularly inspects work to ensure standards and procedures established for maintenance and cleanliness are implemented and maintained.
18. Investigates complaints and takes corrective measures.
19. Assists in regularly updating the Housekeeping Operation Manual, Training Manual, Room History Cards and Renovation Records.
20. Directs, delegates responsibilities for the effective control, record, issue and care of furniture’s, equipment items, operating items, guest and cleaning supplies including their storage.
21. Checks on VIPs of Front Office outlet and Function rooms as well as long staying guest.
22. Does counselling of employees.
23. Plans vacations for the department.
24. Plans for maintenance and spring clean for guest room and Public Areas
25. Handles Housekeeping staff meeting on room and public area.
26. Checking, reporting and ensuring Emergency and safety hazards are removed, handled and reported for remedial action.
27. Assists in evaluation the performance of the department’s personnel.

Yêu cầu công việc
Knowledge and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or
Additional certification(s) from a reputable Hospitality Management school will be an advantage
• Additional certification(s) from a reputable Hospitality Management school will be an advantage
• Minimum 3 years of Housekeeping experience
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
