Mô tả công việc

MAIN DUTIES – TRÁCH NHIÊM CHÍNH

- Supervise the Reservation Assistant Manager / Supervisor/ Reservation Officers.

- Perform all daily tasks related to inventory control and balance.

- Plan and administer duty roster for the section.

- Ensure day to day efficiency of the section by supervising and evaluating staff performance and reporting regularly on happening with the section.

- Constantly monitor booking and room situation to maximize opportunities for achieving occupancy, yield and rates.

- Supervise and participate in the daily activities of Reservation Office engaged in receiving, processing and confirming guest room reservations.

- Ensure that all hotel reservation via Fax/Letter/Email is responded by Reservation Team within the day of receipt and files accordingly.

- Work closely with other departments to effectively accommodate guests’ special requests and amenities on the status of the group reservation, special MICE, Resident Meeting groups and other special arrivals

- Check the daily pick up for current month and following months, 90 days forecast, following week’s VIP groups.

- Resolve complaints from clients in regard to reservations and take immediate remedy action.

- Check and update daily “No show” list – if any.

- Make monthly report of CCC send to CCC office on time.

- Make weekly CCC, No-show and other reports (if any) and post in slides of Revenue presentation.

- Ensure efficient handling by Reservation Team of all reservations: Local/Overseas individuals. Group wholesale, OTA. Applicable discount requests if neccessary.

- Create / extend rate code in PMS – if neccessary.

- Weekly check Waiting list bookings and confirm with approval of DORev or DOSM.

- Monitor and ensure that all guest information is input into the system accurately, completely and promptly.

- Review reservations listings daily to ensure accuracy of room types, rates, codes, and guest information – if neccessary.

- Ensure training/ up-selling needs analysis of Reservation staff is carried out and training programs are designed and implemented to meet needs.

- Make monthly training report.

- Assist DORevwith room inventory control (close or open, increase or descrease room rate, top of room inventory), loading rates in Gateway or Chanel Managerment for OTA – if any.

- Nurtures and develops employees whilst ensuring standards of operation are maintained

- Take up routine,ad-hoc projects and assignments given by DORev when required.

- Weekly update Caneda report

- Maitain and update Hotel information to the team.

- Conduct training / meeting if neccessary.

- Train and evaluate reservation staff to ensure that all procedures are performed to the hotel’s standards

- Has a full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned work.

- Provides feedback on the results of the Mystery Guest Program Report and ensures that relevant changes are implemented

- College / University degree

- Fluent English

- Confident personality

- Attention to details, accurate reporting, able to multi-task

- Good communication.

- Negotiation skill

- Familiar with Opera system

- Experience in hotels is a must

- Time management.
