HOUSEKEEPING SHIFT LEADER

• Direct and control Housekeepers to ensure that all day-to-day operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met.

• Assign areas for cleaning as per schedules and monitor the cleaning process

• Ensure that vacant rooms are cleaned timely, check on completion of cleaning and reports back to seniors once complete.

• Report Engineering failures and breakdowns, thus, follow up on repair schedules.

• Oversee the cleanliness and status of housekeeping pantries ensuring par stocks are properly in order.

• Oversee the minibar operation ensuring bars are restocked in a timely and efficient manner

• Oversee the issuing, controlling and application of Housekeeping cleaning chemicals

• Oversee the turndown service schedule in guestroom ensuring that they are properly attended to

• Ensure subordinate are properly logging guest requests for room customization properly and consistently acted upon, thus, complete guest satisfaction.

• Perform all of duties as a Housekeeper

• Inspect facilities for completeness of work assignment and instruct Housekeepers to correct errors

• Prepare daily work assignment roster

• Accomplish any requests of reports, summaries, or any administrative documents related to the department’s operation and attend meetings as being required

• At least two-year experience working in the Housekeeping department

• Fluently understand the work process related to the department

• Rise to requirement in certain certificates required
