Assistant E-commerce Manager

Main responsibilities

• To deploy the marketing, room selling on internet in order to achieve internet room booking plan.

• To manage, update regularly and precisely the official public information, image of hotel’s products and services on website.

• To supervise the usage, recommend to change website tools in order to meet guest’s demands, to change website form in order to catch up modern trend of the market and in accordance with hotel’s manner.

• To establish relationship with potential room sales websites. To advertise website’s address and image on search tools on internet and professional website, to ensure information and image are updated precisely.

• To recommend promotion policies to attract online booking.

• To manage online booking guests’ record, to execute sales calls (periodic or by event), to resolve guests’ complaint and comments.

• To implement periodic reporting to Director of Sales and Marketing about online room booking, guest status (volume, increase and decrease, guest’s complaint, affected event…).

• To follow up the implementation of public policies on website.

• To implement and take part in other activities of hotel as per regulation and assignment of upper management (such as promotion program, sales campaign, client seminar, etc…).

• To maintain professional working manner, appropriate behavior in dealing with guest and colleagues, to ensure the elegant appearance.

• To be ready to take other tasks subject to assignment of Head of Department.

General requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management preferred.

• 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to influence and persuade with excellent negotiation skills

• Strong sales and analytical knowledge

• Excellent skills In Customer Service.

• Good communication skills.

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Vietnamese; additional language is beneficial

• Proficient in the use of Channel Manager (Site Minder), PMS (Opera) and Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
