Mô tả công việc

• Control the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and Spa.

• Have an excellent eye for details to maintain all public areas set up and maintenance to the highest standard.

• Ensure that MGallery Brand Standards are implemented and followed.

• Ensure that SOPs are in place and followed, and to ensure that SOPs are in line with Brand Standards.

• Liaise closely on a daily basis with all supporting departments of Rooms Division such as Engineering, Reservations, Sales and Finance in order to ensure effective communication and collaboration with all parties concerned.

• Ensure guest comments are followed up and acted upon without delay.

• Be responsible for the follow up of the guest satisfaction survey and to run a weekly meeting with all the operation department to implement corrective actions.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets.

• Maximize revenue and occupancy to the best of his / her ability and suggest ways to make improvements, through training, control and management of room inventory.

• Carry out regular training in order to ensure the highest levels of performance are maintained at all times.

• Ensure all cash transactions handled by the Front Office personnel and by the Spa personnel are done according to the guidelines set by Director of Finance.

• Ensure that cost control measures and guest supplies tracking systems are in place and especially in the Housekeeping department.

• Ensure that monthly inventories of Operating Supplies & Equipment are done in Housekeeping and Spa and to implement corrective actions.

• Ensure all section heads observe the Hotel policies and procedures, as well as supervising their respective personnel.

• Ensure that all the staff adhere to all policies and procedures established by the Hotel management.

• Handle guests’ complaints, when necessary, concerning services of all areas of operation and followed up and corrective action is taken as soon as possible.

• Ensure effective communication and coordination within the Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and Spa.

• Be thoroughly conversant with the Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and Spa Operations.

• Assist HR in the selection of staff, training and appraisals of all employees in the Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and Spa.

• Check and ensure that all rooms / suites assigned for VIPs are in good order and respective amenities are placed in prior to their arrival.

• Welcome and escort arriving VIPs and bid farewell upon their departure.

• Ensure all records and reports in each Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and Spa section’s “Log Book” are promptly and efficiently recorded and followed up.

• Work closely with Duty Manager & Security Department in handling and resolving incidents affecting in–house guests.

• Have good knowledge and understanding of all emergency procedures and hotel policies.

• Maintain good interpersonal relationship between hotel management and guests.

• Assist the Training Manager in planning, organizing and conduct training for all the Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and Spa staff.

• Ensure sufficient staff is on duty according to the hotel occupancy and approved staff manning. And to arrange for replacement for staff on medical leave or any other leave.

• Ensure that room occupancy forecast is not overbooked by the Reservation’s staff and to maximize room revenue.

• Conduct all the morning/afternoon briefing with the Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and Spa team, linked with night shift.

• Follow the daily guest book comments (VOG) and share with the team. Ensure that an action plan is prepared if needed.

• Review Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping and Spa monthly reports, comment on key performance indicators.

• Effectively supervise all guest arrivals and departures ensuring that room allocations and check in/check out processes follow set procedures and are customer focused.

Requirements:

  • Excellent in Verbal and Written skills in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Expert in problem resolution skills, budget, manpower and expenses Management.
  • At least 2 years experience at the same position.
