Chief Accountant - Kế Toán Trưởng

JOB PURPOSE:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Responsible for knowing critical functions within the department and capable of mentoring and assisting employees within the department.

• Utilize teamwork to develop departmental synergy.

• Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.

• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.

• Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws.

• Reviews accounts payables and weekly check runs.

• Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions.

• Responsible for distributing financial statements and cost center reports.

• Responsible for monthly verification of payroll with the coordination of HR including incentives, overtime, etc. and monthly accrual for staff benefits & make general entries accordingly as well in agreement with the General Manager.

• Responsible for daily petty cash handling, reconciliation and timely submission of petty cash expenses for approval & reimbursement of petty cash

• Responsible for verification of income auditing, receivables & debtors reconciliation.

• Prepares work papers and supporting schedules for the annual financial review.

• Staff management and development in accordance with the Head of Departments and the Management.

•Distributes monthly comparison reports and cost center reports according to schedules.

• Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.

• Analyze transaction processes and identify areas where additional accuracy and efficiencies can be achieved.

• Closely maintains and monitors the fixed assets system.

• Adheres to internal and external deadlines.

• Applies cost accounting methods to achieve accurate representation of cost center performance.

• Responsible for holding manufacturing plant management accountable for accuracy and timeliness of inventory controls and cost controls.

• Assist with monthly forecast & annual budgets – prepares all allocations;

• Coordinate monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

• Responsible for all taxes obligations.

• Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities.

• Develop and implement various accounting procedures.

• Preparation of the monthly statutory accounts and consolidated financial statements under country Laws, Regulations & Policies.

• Work with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.

• Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets.

• Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information.

• Work in a safe manner that does not harm or injure self or others by applying hotel regulations, and adhering to existing laws and regulations

• Ensure that guests’ details are not disclosed.

• Follow emergency procedures to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees.

• Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance and body language as well as per employee handbook set by the Company.

• 2 days OFF per week

• Responsible Business: Show involvement and be interested in environmental and/or social issues by participating in Responsible Business hotel and departmental activities.

• Accepts flexible working schedule when necessary for the Hotel’s uninterrupted service as well during the pre opening stage.

• Be co-operative to the entire team for all other duties and do direct job or indirect job to be one team. You may be required to undertake other duties or you may work in another department from time to time as the Hotel may require according to the business requirement
