Kế Toán trưởng khách sạn/ Chief Accountant

We are seeking highly qualified Vietnamese candidates to fill in the post of Manager Depts for a sustainable growing and development. The job incumbent has a learning opportunity and a possibility to become Group’s key position in near future.

• To provide an accompanying service in management accounting and financial analysis for managers which will enable them to plan and control their operations

• Being a team leader to maintain high level of teamwork and team spirit. To offer proper guidance and assistance to the ordinates. (Senior accountant, Accountant) Regularly review of their job performance & coaching given if required

• To support Finance Controller to ensure strictly adhering deadlines of any local and corporate reports

• To ensure accounting records are in accordance with corporate accounting policies and guidelines

• To assist Finance Controller in controlling, budgeting and reinforce internal control

• To ensure all financial transaction records are accurately maintained and computerized into accounting system including general ledgers so as to provide monthly income statement, balance sheet timely manner according to Vietnam Accounting standards

• To ensure the company tax, e.g. VAT, CIT etc, records are in accordance with the local regulation

• To ensure the credit management is performed in accordance with the policies and guideline

• Manages and controls the cash position (propose measures if necessary)

• Manages local infrastructure and fixed asset (building, office supplies, furniture etc.) within the approval budget

• Manages, monitors and support the establishment of Cost of goods with Cost controller

• Managing and controlling cost of goods including material consumption in production, following up problems, and initiate improvements

• To reconcile monthly closing results with Accountants and each department

• To document finance related workflows and eliminate any inefficient areas

• To organize and lead the preparation of the following:

• Year-end closing according to the Vietnam Accounting Standard

• External accounting audit

• Year-end tax audit

• Annual & ad hoc physical inventory check & reconciliation

Minimum 2 years of experience at the same level of Resort/Hotel

Pre-opening experience is preferred.

• Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifications, preferably in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. (Must have)

• 5 years working in management in account and hospitality was required.

• In depth knowledge of Hotel’s working processes and procedures

• Communication skills in both English and Vietnamese

• Organized and able to follow detailed working procedures

• Training and coaching skills

• Strong organisational ability and time management

• Self-discipline with ability to work under stress

• Mature and sophisticated so as to be able to understand and be comfortable working within complicated business and government
