Surveillance Technical Manager

Responsible to provide and manage high level of technical support of the Surveillance Technical Team and ensure the efficient maintenance, repair and installation of CCTV Surveillance systems (cameras, monitors, duress alarms, CCTV switches, digital encoders/decoders, servers, NVR’s and all related technology/ systems) across the property of Ho Tram Project Limited. Additional responsibilities is to maintain and support the Access Control System and administration of all Surveillance Technical matters. Perform all duties in accordance with The Grand Ho Tram Strip’s policies and within the realm of The Grand Ho Tram Strip’s Mission Statement. All responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices and procedures, as well as within the framework and intent of the Vision of The Grand Ho Tram Strip property.

Responsibilities

 Lead and manage small team

 Manage all aspects of the system and technical issues relating to the CCTV Surveillance system across the property.

 Ensure that the CCTV Surveillance and associated systems are maintained to the highest levels of proficiency.

 Plan and manage CCTV Surveillance system updates and installations and changes.

 Respond to breakdowns related to CCTV Surveillance and Technologies

 Be effective in communicating with all stakeholders (Surveillance, Security, IT, Facilities Management, contractors and vendors) – participate and when required manage interdepartmental meetings including minutes and action plans.

 Manage and motivate the technical team, coach, counsel and discipline as required.

 Assess the team’s technical and job knowledge – implement training, assessment evaluation and continue on-the-job learning/training for the team.

 Be responsible for interviewing and hiring of Surveillance technical team members.

 Assists in managing and allocating Surveillance Technical budget.

 Maintain inventory of equipment and spare is sufficient for business requirements.

 Test and commission electronic equipment

 Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors (SI’s, suppliers and other product vendors).

 Establish and maintain a strong knowledge of product available in the market.

 Establish and maintain working relationships with counterparts at other casino properties.

 Ensure compliance with Baseline Casino CCTV/Surveillance standards.

 Allocate and roster manpower to ensure business requirements is met.

 Prepare daily, weekly or monthly reports as required.

 Ensure a proactive and positive approach to maintain and enhance the system and associated areas.

 Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Surveillance.

 Bachelor’s Degree of a University or 5 years Work related Certificates in a company

 At least 7 years of CCTV Surveillance system technical experience. Certifications of Dallmeier system products and associated systems preferred. Supervisory / management experience in casino surveillance technical operations preferred. Previous experience with digital/IP (virtual or hybrid systems) at least 1000 IP cameras system.

 Certification/diplomas in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and IT Computer Hardware and Software and/or verifiable working experience and knowledge.

 Good level of English speaking, reading and writing.

 Knowledge of application of project supervision, software such as MS operating systems, SQL server, MS server, AutoCAD and basic networking.

 Cisco certified Engineer or equivalent (preferred)

 Maintain a good workspace employee relation in the way of respectful and harmony.

 Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

 Detail oriented with initiative and able to work independently.

 Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange and Outlook.
